Severely depressed. Books have been a lifeline in the past.
If you can recommend something, anything, please do. It's been months like this. I am not sure how I can hold on. (Have therapist, on meds). Thank you.
I always suggest this book, but this might be best one for it. Reading “Wise Child” by Monica Furlong feels like being touched by a god.

The Scribe by Elizabeth Hunter. First three books are great on audiobook very well narrated. Urban fantasy genre. I like the global setting that isn’t US centric and interesting world behind the scenes that is created. The female main character struggles with hearing voices and the opening scene is her meeting with a new shrink. I love that she’s not crazy assassin but has that built in weakness to her but is still mentally strong and intelligent so you may enjoy it. Book one made me cry and then ends on a bit of a cliff hanger.
