Bodas de Sangre de Federico García Lorca. Es una tragedia super fácil de leer y tiene sus momentos divertidos. Te lo ventilas en un día.

Check out Robert Bolaño. 2666 or Savage Detectives are about good.

Try Isabel Allende for magical realism, YA fantasy, drama or memoirs (depending on the book – read the synopses and see which you like the sound of, her work is pretty varied).
Juan Gómez Jurado writes pretty good thrillers, as does Dolores Redondo.

might be too ~out there~ without knowing your taste but I couldn’t put down Distancia de Rescate (english title: Fever Dream) by Samanta Schweblin and still think about it at LEAST weekly 😅
