Good morning. I will be hiking the Stevenson trail next month in France and love to read based on the place I’m visiting. I’ll be there for a few weeks so would like to have a couple of options. While I’m hiking I prefer to listen to fun and fast paced books. At night I’d like to read something more “literary” are there any current French authors that are a must read? Thanks for your help!

I highly recommend Annie Ernaux (Nobel prize 2022). I love all the ones i’ve read, but her autobiography “A girl’s story” has a special place in my heart.
