I'm a guy who was introduced to the world of Shakespeare by my Literature Sir back in High School 5yrs ago….since then I ended up reading Merchant of Venice, Tempest, Twelfth Night, Hamlet….planning to read Hamlet, Othello, Julius Caesar, Romeo and Juliet. Normally i pick up/buy the Arden versions as i like the way it is and the explanations are very clear to me…..suggest me if i need more for a better experience of Shakespeare….now i'm not a literature student, just a under grad engineer who loves reading classic literature mainly Shakespeare so forgive me if i used a wrong flair

The Tragedy of King Lear is both dark and epic, worth adding to the list. It has so many of the classic ‘spearean quotes in it too.
