I’m going through a bit of a low period right now, and I’d love to hear about books that made things feel a little lighter for you. Whether they made you laugh (I'd love a funny book), feel understood, or just helped you breathe easier for a few hours. Just something that reminded you things can get better, or at least gave you a break from your own thoughts.

Could be in english or spanish, I honestly don't mind.

Thanks in advance!! You guys give the best suggestions fr.

Tiny Beautiful Things by Cheryl Strayed  It’s not a funny book, but it gives me hope and makes me feel less alone when I’m at my lowest

I’d suggest some of the Discworld Books-Tiffany Aching for coming of age stories, Moist Von Lipwig for reformed rascal stories, Nightwatch series and Witches series for pleasure. Wikipedia has a great graphic of which of the 40 books go where. I listened to them on Audible. There are two different sets of narrators-I prefer the readings with Bill Nighy and Peter Serafinowicz.

A Walk in the Woods (nonfiction) by Bill Bryson is great for some light-hearted laughs.

But, if you need something inspirational, I would recommend The Midnight Library by Matt Haig.
