I'm looking for a book that will make me feel something. I want to read a story that touches on the human condition. I've recently read Stoner, and I loved that book because it does both of those things well. Some other books that I think do a good job at encapsulating the human condition that I enjoyed are The Road, All the Light We Cannot See, and Night.
I've heard that The Brothers Karamazov has these elements that I'm looking for, however, I've also heard it's a difficult read. Before diving in, I'd like to hear some of your opinions!

lmfao what is up with these posts bro
if you’re wondering whether to read a book, you should read the book
I much prefer War and Peace, my favorite. I got a bit bored with BK, found the Grand Inquisitor part trying.
Totally worth it.
Find out.
