I keep hearing about enemies to lovers but I honestly just don’t like romance. It just doesn’t interest me. I DO love reading about friendships though. Any suggestions?
any genre but appreciated if you mention the genre with the title

*Brian’s Song* by William Blind is really good
While I wouldn’t say Gale and Brian were enemies, there was definitely some early rivalry between them. They played for the Chicago Bears and got paired as the first interracial roommates in NFL history. It’s a great story and one that everyone should know.
*Friends Divided: John Adams and Thomas Jefferson* by Gordon Wood is good if you don’t mind reading about early US history. John Adams and Thomas Jefferson started off as friends and became bitter enemies. Eventually in their later years they repaired their relationship and loved writing to each other.
Hi! Not sure what you’re in the mood for, but I’ll recommend a couple of lovely quick-read, slice-of-life novels. (Can read in a few hours each.)
Days at Morisaki Bookshop & More Days at Morisaki Bookshop by Satoshi Yogisawa
We meet the protagonist, post break-up, and she reconnects with an uncle who owns a bookstore. The quirky neighborhood residents are likeable. (The friendship of the shop owners & interactions are interesting – like you’re a fly on the wall.) Any romance is from the pov of the mc but not a main storyline at all.
