I'm in a huge flunk. It doesn’t help that my working hours have gone from 8 to like 10 a day. I need something light in the below.
Specifically Indies, hidden gems, etc. Preferrably new too, around the last 5ish years would be great:
- Mysteries. I prefer PIs and cops or forensic vs solo investigators.
- Punk: Cyberpunk, steampunk all da punks.
- Not much of a fantasy person, but enjoyed all the books I've read by Michael J Sullivan in the past. Something with bromance would be fun.
Alternatively: Maybe some actual light reads in terms of genre haha. Tooth. Rotting. Fluff. Doesn't have to be romance, could be like family themed, Christmas, etc. I particularly love women's fiction. I always cry. Even the happy ones 😅 Just maybe not TOO corny.
Much appreciated from a tired bean who realizes life shouldn't just be work and rotting in bed ✌️

**You Promised Me August.**
**Where the Fireflies Waited**
**Will You Be My Last?**
The above three are romantic novels. For the mystery, thriller and suspense you have to read this book
**Obsession Runs Red.**
It’s a complete pack of Romance, Mystery, Physcothriller. Surely this book will keep you on your toes.
For the Indies you can read. I highly recommend this novels.
Do you want something less than 300 pages or more than 300 pages? Because your title says more than 300 pages, but that seems to contradict your post. What about the Murderbot books? They are easy reading, very short, and a bit cyberpunkish. If you wanted more than 300 pages you could count the series as one book.
