Hi fellow book lovers!
For the past couple of years I’ve been OBSESSED with reading thriller/crime fiction (Freida McFadden, Gillian Flynn, Lucy Foley, Lisa Jewell, etc.).
Lately I’ve transitioned into the wider fiction world and have loved reading the following:
– Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo
– Hell Bent by Leigh Bardugo
– The Cloisters by Katy Hays
Wondering if anyone has recommendations for good reads like the ones I’ve put above (either the thriller/crime fiction or the wider fiction) or any fantasy books that you think are easy to get into and read!
Thank you ☺️

Have you read the Mr. Mercedes trilogy by Stephen King?
Have you read any of Mona Awad’s books? A little more horror than thriller but I could see fans of Gillian Flynn enjoying her books. They also have some fantasy elements so that might be a good option for merging the two genres.
An excellent crime/suspense thriller I have recently read is The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides. I’m sure you would enjoy it
2666 by Roberto Bolaño is metafiction novel which is inspired in the crimes in Ciudad Juaréz
I loved the Six of Crows duology, also by Leigh Bardugo, if you wanna give that a shot.
Dresden Files or Iron Druid Chronicles might suit you
