I recently decided to give khosseini a try and fell in love with his writing.
Can you recommend me books that hit as emotionally deep as Hosseini's? I’m not picky about genre they can be anything as long as they grip you from the start and actually hold your attention. I struggle to focus for long so I need something that pulls me in emotionally and mentally.
Also i’d prefer books that aren’t too complex or overly abstract. I struggle with novels that are heavy on symbolism or have meanings hidden between ten layers of metaphor. I’m just looking for emotionally immersive and engaging storytelling that’s easy to connect with.

“A Man Called Ove” by Fredrik Backman! It’s gentle, funny, sad, and quietly devastating. Perfect for people who don’t like complex story layering. It starts slow but gets deeply human….
