Looking for books (either fiction or non-fiction) that tell a story of or investigate the unfolding of disasters — particularly examining the system failures responsible. Some illustrative examples:
Chernobyl
Bhopal
Fukushima
Revolutions / coups leading to dictatorial regimes
Detrimental systemic changes (e.g. the enclosure of the commons)
Jurassic Park (the novel) would also be a great fictional example of this.
