Hello, I'm a bored teen boy. I want to learn something, but I don't know what to really do. I want a book that teaches a life skill or teaches something useful as an alternative to just mindlessly scrolling Reddit and YouTube shorts. I'm 17.

Designing Your Life
You could try a book on finance (like Barefoot Investor) to teach you about the importance of saving/investing/having long term goals.
Otherwise, fiction teaches you a lot more than you would think – empathy and being able to understand other’s perspectives, as a start. They’re also pretty entertaining to read!
As a Man thinketh by James Allen.
Have a look at Matt Parker’s 3 books, perhaps Things to Make and do in the Fourth Dimension or Love Triangles.
