Hey all!
I used to be an avid reader as a teen up until about my junior year of high school when I had to read books for a college English class and it sucked the fun out of reading.
I was a big non-fiction, fantasy, romance girly. I loved books like Hush, Hush, Maximum Ride, and The Forest of Hands and Teeth to name a few.
I am currently reading ACOTAR and I'm enjoying it but it hasn't "sucked me in". I'm looking for book recommendations of books that fit the genres mentioned above that I can dig into!
I really don't like books where the main character is under the age of 20 (I know, weird requirement) and I don't like comedy. One of the things I don't enjoy about ACOTAR is Feyre's personality either- I don't enjoy protagonists like her very much.
I'm open to anything and I just want something to spark that passion again! I'm really excited to see what you all recommend:)
