I only picked up reading again now after a lot of time off from books and I'm so looking for something to read. Unfortunately, I don't have any title at home that I haven’t read yet and so I need advice.
I'd like to specify that I’m looking for something to read more as an entertainment, and that for now I wouldn’t really feel much into more heavy or complicated books.
My problem is,(and the reason I’m asking here for advice) that I'm no longer sure what my genre is after this very long break.
I've never really experimented much with genres while growing up, and I feel like maybe that's part of the problem.
When I was a kid I only read fantasy books, without ever changing the genre.
I just finished William Gibson's Neuromancer and I’d totally loved it.
I thought that maybe I so should’ve dived into science fiction (also because I remember even loving Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy when I read it years ago), but now that I'm reading a little bit of premises and considering what would be the most obvious books to read to get started in that genre I also feel like Asimov isn't exactly my thing.
I wonder if you could share with me your favorite books, and some of your reading advices.
I feel like I’d like something with a good amount of action too, and by the way, thanks for reading this far.

    1. Dungeon Crawler Carl. Highly entertaining. Is a mix of genres but has sci fi and action. Also Project Hail Mary. No action but still a gripping read. The audiobooks for both are highly recommended.
