I’m in the mood to read something about the end of days. I liked The Road when I read it a few years ago, and I just finished The Last Murder at the End of the World which I appreciated for its hopefulness. What do you have for me?

Try the Last Policeman series by Ben H Winters. It’s about a cop who keeps trying to be a cop even while the world is coming to an end
On The Beach by Neville Shute.
If you like things that focus more on interpersonal relationships than the apocalypse itself, ‘The Cats We Meet Along The Way’ by Nadia Mikail is quite nice.
Swan Song
Try Margaret Atwood’s Oryx and Crake
A Flash Of Silver Green : Stories Of The Nature Of Cities
Short story anthology about cities and climate change set in the future
