Book about stories from Hindu Mythology

I have found a lot of books about Hindu Mythology in general, what im interested is in the smaller stories which i have read here n there, for example I love the story of how Lord Shiva’s Ganas came to be and how Lord Ganesha became there leader or the story of how Ravana stole lanka from Kuber and got curses. Im looking for may be a collection of similar stories if there is any, looking forward to some suggestions,Thanks in advance
