Novels that evoke neo-noir movies of the 80s / 90s

Per the title – movies like Body Heat, Basic Instinct, etc.

Thrillers with Bad choices, manipulation, femme fatales, maybe a murder or two, twists and turns.

I’ve searched about and can’t find much – all I can personally think of is The Postman always rings twice by James M Cain or maybe some of the Vicki Hendricks books (I’ve only previously read Miami Purity).

Otherwise all I can think of is going back to some of the older pulpy noir stuff from the 40s/50s like maybe Jim Thompson?
