Boyfriend (25M) is getting back into reading, and LOVED (and still loves) all of Clive Cussler's books. I'm looking for something else to recommend to him that'll be similarly thrilling and engrossing. Only non-Clive Cussler books he has read in the past 3 years are the Three-Body Problem books, which he very much enjoyed, and a few nonfiction books about Arctic exploration. He (after being asked) said he previously has read Dan Brown and really liked it ("couldn't put it down"). I'm more sci-fi space opera, so something we would enjoy together would be an extra bonus!
