    hi everyone ! ive been trying to get back into reading lately, since its always been a big hobby of mine. its been quite a while since ive read a book (my phone takes over too much of my day sadly), so this is why im in big need of recommendations c:

    a few books ive read a few months / a year ago that ive enjoyed a lot are;
    – bunny (by mona awad)
    – if we were villains (by m.l. rio)
    – the sanatorium (by sarah pearse) [also the sequel: the retreat, but i liked this one a bit less]
    – the "the inheritance games" series (by jennifer lynn barnes)

    ive began to read "and then there were none" by agatha christie a few days ago, and ive been insanely enjoying that book too !

    as far as genres go (which im not super familiar with), i really like thriller, horror, sci-fi, and whatever the list above categorises as lol.

    i very much dislike young adult series if i understand this genre correctly, so please do correct me if im wrong. im just not the type of person to read a book thats 95% about how two people are trying to get into a relationship with each other (books such as "red, white, and royal blue" are really not the type of books for me. it was the only title that came to mind, so i do hope people understand what type i mean lol)

    please feel free to recommend outside of my preferences too, im very much open to read new genres and give good YA books a chance, since im pretty sure that the "the inheritance games" series is also YA, but i did enjoy reading the series a lot.

    thanks in advance for the recommendations c: and sorry if im all over the place with this post haha

      Both are Psychological YA short stories so they are definitely easy to get into!

      I’d recommend looking into Dark Academia based on the books you listed! One I’d rec is The Atlas Six.

      Everyone In My Family Has Killed Someone by Benjamin Stevenson, then the sequel Everyone On This Train is a Suspect.

      I also *really* enjoyed The Benevolent Society of Ill-Mannered Ladies by Alison Goodman, & the new sequel The Ladies Road Guide to Utter Ruin.
