To be honest, I don’t know what type of books she likes because we’ve only been friends for two months, and we don’t hang out as much because it’s summer. I went back home to my family, so I don’t know what I get her. My suggestions would be maybe something fun, like talking about activities or exploring, or even something encouraging. Give me all your wild suggestions even if it doesn’t match what i said. I’ll give everything a look.

Describe the friend of yours, how she looks, what she talks about, like overall?
If you’re not sure what she likes to read I’d suggest either, something that you’ve really loved that you’d like to share with her, or something like a pretty journal or scrapbook where maybe she can make it what she’d like it to be? You could pair that with some nice pens or other stationary? Or depending on her age and interests, a non fiction book about something that would excite her – like about a sport, type of music, travel destination or bucket list adventure book?
What kind of music does she like? If you know her favourite artist/band, maybe you could get her an autobiography or something along those lines? If you think she would like that.
