I am re reading a really good book. I read it in college when I took a 20th century lit class (back in 1986 😳) It’s called The Good Old Boys by Elmer Kelton.
While I read just about everything except for romance, this is a really fun change. Especially if you’re from Texas or the west in general. It’s about a cowboy at the turn of the last century having to deal with all of the changes in the west such as barbed wire and automobiles. It’s very funny and heartwarming.
Kelton has written 3 more books to go along with it which I am reading as well.
