My husband always reads my recommendations but he got his first e reader and I want to find some books to fill it with.
He said he's into spy/cops type books and I don't know where to start with those.
Any recommendations or authors would be appreciated!

Michael Connelly is a well-known writer of detective novels (Bosch, for example). Lee Child’s Reacher novels are also pretty solid. Agent Zigzag by Ben Macintyre is the true story of a WWII British double agent that’s very good.
Does he like procedurals? The series of books Slough House by Mick Herron is espionage and British. Apple has or had a tv show based on them.
Older books would be anything by Robert Ludlum. My favorite espionage write these days is Robert Littell. The recent movie, The Amateur was based on one of his books. Another good writer is Robert Harris, but he does things besides spies.
Does he like Patricia Cornwell? Might look at David Baldacci, too. I could go on for a while, but I don’t know his taste. Hope something here helps you out.
Try Slough House series by Mick Herron narrated by Gerard Doyle and the Sean Duffy series by Adrian McKinty also narrated by Doyle. Oh-these are audio books but also available in E readers I imagine. I also like the recommendation about Michael Connolly. Robert Crais’s Elvis Pike books are also good.
Some authors I like:
* Robert Crais
* John Galligan
* Tana French
* Sarah Stewart Taylor
The Dry by Jane Harper (book one of the Aaron Falk trilogy)
Tinker tailor soldier spy
The day of the jackal
Carl Hiassen
If he hasn’t already read it, The DaVinci Code
The Charm School by Nelson DeMille
The Day of the Jackal by Frederick Forsyth
I like the Joe Ledger series by Jonathan Maberry.
Bourne’s Identity
The Jack Reacher books by Lee Child.
Try Daniel DaSilva, the Gabriel Allon spy books. He is a world class art restoration guy/ moussad agent. Good value!
