I'm looking for some truly escapist fantasy books that transport you to another world vibe. Not modern day because real life is boring and I need that escape.
Even my dreams are dull and involve train journeys and people lofts with no excitement. My dreams used to have adventures .
So please suggest any light hearted fantasy novels. A little bit of politics is fine but I'm not up for social commentary too much or largely political based books.
I find young adult fiction most interesting because its rarely too dystopian but I want a good adult book sometimes.
