First Book Recommendation

Getting into book reading, inquiring experts about first book to consider, i feel Indian mythology would be something that would hold my interest and this way I would be able to develop reading habit. An year ago I bought Sapiens but didn’t interest me much. Assuming Indian mystery and mythology is a good genre and will help continue reading journey, any good suggestions here
