They seem to be the only books I really enjoy.
I’ve switched back to books set in the 21st century and I can barely get through 1 book a week.
There is just something about stories of people surviving droughts and blizzards.
I’ve read the following:
Little house on the prairie series(rated majority of the books a 5/5)
Hattie Big Sky(rated 5/5)
Ann Weisgarbers: the personal history of Rachel Dupree, The Promise, The Glove maker (rated all 5/5)
A lantern in her hand (rated 4/5)
O Pioneers(rated 2/5, nothing really happened until the end)
Not really a fan of horror but willing to try it out!
The leads have to be women though!
