I'm about to turn 30 in one month, and I've been reflecting on my 20s, thinking about how I navigated my transition into adulthood, reflecting on the mistakes that I made, and the learning opportunities that life presented to me in the last decade. There are many 'coming of age' stories for people transitioning from teenage years to adulthood, but I was wondering there were nice 'coming of age' stories for transitioning from 20s to 30s. I am open to both fiction and non-fiction books, and I have previously enjoyed introspective, heavy first-person, stream-of-consciousness type books. I'm looking for something light but insightful, and would appreciate any suggestions, thanks!

I’m in the same boat, happy almost birthday! I read The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath last year and felt it was a really transformative read for my 20’s. Excited to hear others’ suggestions.
If you’re open to something more explicitly self-help, I’d recommend Quarterlife by Satya Doyle Byock which explores the young adult phase of life from 20’s to mid-30’s. It’s written by a therapist who started seeing a lot of clients in this age demo and began recognizing it as a stage of life that isn’t explicitly talked about much.
I have reread The Ronin, by William Dale Jennings every 10 years or so and get a new perspective every time I read it.
