I saw a video the other day that recommended carrying some light non-fiction around with you so you have something you can read a few minutes here and there. Was looking to see if there are any recommendations. I'm open to pretty much anything, but I am particularly interest in philosophy, science, history, and current events/topics.

    1. What if by Randall Munroe

The author is a scientist (i think he once worked for NASA) who looks at very weird questions and takes a deep dive into the scientific answers. E.g. what would happen if every person on the planet would gather at one place and jump at the same time? (Spoiler: humanity would die out, but not for the reasons you probably suspect) Each chapter is only a couple of pages, so it is perfect if you only want to read for a short time.
