So in elementary school and high school I liked reading a lot. I read all of the usual stuff nerdy kids read, Harry Potter, LOTR (actually most of Tolkien's work), the first GoT book, a little bit of Stephen King. Through high school I had to read some classics and I most remember enjoying Fahrenheit 451, Animal Farm, The Metamorphosis, but my favourite was Crime and Punishment.
So, that's basically it for my reading. I need something fresh that I can read in the space of a month before college starts, and I want it to be a great book that's going to make me like reading again. I tried reading The Master and Margarita, but just fizzled out after maybe 20 pages, it just didn't grab me.
Genuinely just throw any suggestions at me, classics, horror, sci-fi, even non-fantasy, anything you would think I might have a chance of liking based on my previous reads, because I am totally lost.
I realise this is a very broad request and it might be a stupid one, because my previous reading experience isn't exactly anything to write home about, but any help would be much appreciated!
