Okay so hear me out, I've been vibing to Misery Business a LOT and I've figured out for my next read, I want something that captures that energy. I love dark romance plots (like Nevertheless, the k-drama, or Alone With you in the Ether by Olivia Blake) and I want something that has some of that mild cattiness going on BUT it can't be too much if that makes sense? A lot of books that feature two women vying for the same romantic interest end up feeling a little too cliche/ having one-dimensional characters, I want something more well-written- characters with depth. I want morally complex characters, no preference on "spiciness" level, preferably characters in their 20s-30s
