I just recalled that I used to read encyclopedias all the time as a child, and it gave me much joy. And since I'm in my 20s now and Earth is not being very <Live Laugh Love> I would like to get back into obsessively rereading interesting encyclopedias.
My most loved ones, that I can remember:
The Usborne Internet-Linked Children's Encyclopedia (2011)
Bizarre Phenomena (Reader's Digest 1992)
Zoobooks
Also:
Random textbooks from my grandma
I flipped through classroom dictionaries and random encyclopedias I could get my hands on during school.
I've done multiple presentations/school projects on the evolution of the horse.
Other subjects include Bullfrogs, Red Eye Tree Frogs, Bats, and Giraffes.
Currently: my attentionspan is shot. The past several years I have been watching/listening to video essays for my thirst for knowledge/answers.
But i miss the books. I like looking at something and going "Ooo that's a cool fact. I will know that forever now."
I dont get that with video essays.
TLDR; Please recommend me encyclopedias or the like. Some children yearned for the mines. I yearned for Knowing Things.
