I need suggestions!! There are two very specific kind of books I’m looking for.
One is stories where it’s about young boys with strong friendships similar to The Outsiders by S.E Hinton and The Body by Stephen king. I especially love the dynamics between the characters in the book and how they’re funny and in some instances charming. It’s a bit hard to convey but if you have read them, you’ll know what I mean. Specifically set anytime between 1950-1999. Think like the goonies, stand by me etc. Nothing toooo depressing and dramatic (like A Little Life).
The second one is any book that’s similar to the movie Almost Famous (2000) where it’s about touring and rockstars and set in the 70s etc. There can be romance but only as a sub-plot.
I know I sound picky and I’m very sorry.
