Hi everyone!
I mostly only read Murakami as a japan author, and I was thinking I should get deeper into the literature considering I really appreciated many of his books. At the moment, though, I’m not looking for something that recreates his dreamy scenes, as I found that what I really enjoy about his books is the way he portrays daily life and common actions among his narratives. Ironing shirts, smoking at the window during a summer evening, taking the train, going for a walk, I really enjoy the way he talks about these things.
Of course, I also want a nice story and not just pleasant descriptions. I would love it if it were a japanese author.
