I love urban fantasy, and IMHO Holly Black is the best ever for being able to blend the realities of opiate addiction in 21st century Manhattan with magical fairylands, but I've exhausted all her urban fantasies and I'd love to read more!
I've read and disliked Leigh Bardugo — her work feels like it name-drops social issues without actually exploring them. But I really like Patricia Briggs for having that ultra-realist ultra-fantasy feel. Thanks in advance!
