I've been struggling with chronic illness and re-adjusting to new limitations. Some days, it's hard to accept that just being alive and getting through the day is enough. I need a comforting book for those moments. Maybe something anti-purpose-driven, but comforting, not nihilistic, please. Two books I've already read that fit this description are A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers and The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating by Elizabeth Tova Bailey. I read just about any genre, so throw it all at me.
