Haven't read a lot (just getting back into it), but I'm a huge tv nerd. My favorite by far is the Sopranos, but I also really like Better Call Saul, Bojack Horseman, and the Bear. Really it's the complex characters who are so shitty but understandable based on their circumstances, and themes of existentialism bordering on nihilism. Any recommendations?
Edit: it's less about the mafia crime aspect and more about the themes and characters. It doesn't even really have to be about crime. More the tragedy genre and themes of existential dread
