I am just thinking about the disappearance of Tina in the books and why this is communicated the way it is. I felt that the emotional impact of Tina disappearing is not really felt at all in Elena’s writing which I found strange. I wondered could this be because a small part of her sees it as a victory over Lila and the conclusion of her worrying about the competition she invents herself between Imma and Tina, but she doesn’t want to admit this to herself?
Curious how others interpreted this part of the book as I think these books are open to lots of different interpretations!
