Hi all,
To expand on the title…
Like I assume many, I didn’t enjoy reading in school. So despite reading a good deal now, I feel like I missed so many crucial pieces of literature that others would consider foundational. I was hoping someone might have a foundational starter guide to read all those books I really should have read, the books that academics build their repertoire from. Does this make sense? Fundamentally, I want to have a strong literary foundation, despite having ignored the notion through middle/high school/college etc. I’m hoping that someone might have a list of the greats, that will key me in on some of these cultural stepping stones.
Thanks so much!
Thanks in advance!
