I've just finished reading Catch-22. Amazing book. I wanted another humourous book to read, and this book is usually the top choice. People absolutely praise this book as one of the best novels of ALL TIME.
I absolutely love science fiction and British humour (like Monty Python) but it seems very overrated to me. It's not funny to me at all. Maybe one or two forced chuckles from me. I could get past that if the story was good, and I hate the story.
100 pages in, I hate it. It's very random humour and the witty dialogue is just not funny to me at all. I guess I understand the messages the author is trying to convey, it's just that I don't really like the events happening or the characters.
Well, the book's due in 2 weeks. Can somebody help me enjoy this?

Maybe hate is a strong word. It’s just horribly boring. Plus, I dislike the characters.
