I am currently at 30% of the way in reading the Power Broker and there have been parts that have been great but the book is very dense in details but what keeps me from fully enjoying it is that I don't know NYC that well so when he is explaining the different areas, streets and neighborhoods, it becomes too much, and stopping to search for all of that online, takes me out of the experience.
So I have been thinking on switching books and read Path to Power, which I assume has less of that. Or should I just drop Caro's books entirely and switch to another biography (any recs?)
