I want to start reading and im looking for books that deal with time travel/alternate universes on a high level. I really liked the tv series counterpart (i think it was apple tv?) since it explores parrallel universes on a deeper level. Also interested in time travel or just in general mind fuckery sci fi books.
Get me hooked on reading.

The Gone World – Tom Sweterlitsch
First Fifteen Lives of Harry August – Claire North
Anubis Gates – Tim Powers
You’d love Dark Matter by Blake Crouch.
Time and Again by Jack Finney.
Time travel:
Michael Crichton’s **Timeline** has a group of grad students go back to 14th century France to investigate a mystery while another group stays in the present to assist/protect them. Much of the story is set in the past, depicting the brutality of life back then.
Robert A. Heinlein’s **The Door Into Summer**. An engineer bounces between the future and the present. (Written in 1957.)
Interdimensional travel:
Richard Bach’s **One** has the protagonist couple cross dimensions multiple times. In each, they encounter different incarnations of themselves. Towards the end of the story, the dimensions become more fantasy-like.
Robert A. Heinlein’s **The Number of the Beast** has the protagonists exploring n-dimensional travel.
Robert A. Heinlein’s **Job: A Comedy of Justice** has the protagonist couple abruptly yanked through multiple dimensions.
Isaac Asimov’s **The Gods Themselves** has communication (but not travel) between beings in separate universes.
Recursion, by Blake Crouch
