Okay okay, it doesn't need to tick ALL of those boxes but I'm in a major slump with reading.
I absolutely ADORE Greek mythology, I enjoy modern books but tend to only enjoy the romance genre – however I love the classics, ANY genre Shakespeare, Greek mythology, whatever! love it all! … bUT I want a brake from classic literature just so I don't have to analyze everything I'm reading so I'd LOVE a modern book but set in those settings or something?…
No idea where to begin and have seen so many mixed vauge reviews on every book I've considered.
Any suggestions?

Neither of these are quite right, not romances, the timeframe is ancient but not Greek mythology but based on what you’ve liked, I think you’ll enjoy these. 🙂
Pandora’s Jar by Natalie Haynes. Haynes delves into the various telling if the goddesses and presents their stories from a feminist perspective. She does it with humor and intelligence. It is a great book!
