I’m trying to redefine my idea of “love”, please suggest me some books?

Hi everyone,

I’ve had staunchly one definition of love throughout my entire life, love = trying (dumbed down ofc) and vice versa. But after a recent experience with a guy who’s polar opposite of me, who looks at emotions like tools (I’m a yearner, no surprise there), time and effort is directly proportional to how much he values them and moves on from things very easily. I’m no longer dating him 🙂

But I’ve been told by everyone in my life that my definition of love is very literary and slightly unrealistic (I grew up on these, sue me). So, here I am, trying to find different definitions of love, for myself and to understand the world a little better.
