Franz Kafka. Herman Melville. Dickinson. Poe
All authors who were relatively unknown in their lifetime yet their genius became known afterwards and they are still highly coveted to this day. There's lots of examples of this in other art forms as well.
Are there any authors alive today you feel will be discovered years or decades after they leave their mark?

Some day… A family will find a box full of manuscripts or a flash drive full of unpublished work. It will strike a chord with people because the author wrote with a style that was not popular at the time, but society will have changed to the point where their work fits perfectly.
