I read Caught Dead Handed by CJ Perry and loved it (until the end, ugh) and would love something similar if possible.
The real niche is I loved the quirky job the MC had – she was a horror host on local tv. Annnd she loses it in the second. That's not a spoiler, it's the tagline of book 2.
But the air is crisp and I'd love a Halloween cozy that has me enjoying the fall vibes, isn't lazy on the mystery, and in print format.
Super extra bonus if there is any book about the MC having a job along the lines of or is directly a horror host. That was such a unique element!
