The title says it all. I feel like it's stunningly hard to figure out on the Internet what is popular right now, besides the obvious of ACOTAR/Rebecca Yarros/etc. What recent releases are people really digging? The B&N website should really be better for this!

    1. Dungeon Crawler Carl has a pretty rabid following atm.
It’s quite different from your examples, but both B&Ns near me have displays for it.

      R. F. Juang’s new book, *Katabasis* just came out yesterday, I’m super excited to dig into that one. V. E. Schwab released a new book a few months ago. I’m currently reading it, *Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil*, and really enjoying it. Silvia Moreno-Garcia also recently released a new book, *The Bewitching*. Mark Lawrence released the last book in his *Library* trilogy earlier this year. T. Kingfisher had a new book, *Of Hemlock & Silver*, come out last week. These are all fantasy books.

I see Liz Moore’s The God of the Woods and Taylor Jenkins Reid’s Atmosphere a lot

SB Cosby is hot right now! I’ve read a couple of his books and I’ve enjoyed them. He’s all over BookTok for sure!

Goodreads is surprisingly good for making curated lists of what is trending well!

The will of the many by James islington – the second book in the series is coming out in November so you can read the first one and get right into the 2nd. It’s an amazing fantasy book.

Took almost 8 years but after tireless recommending and word of mouth paying it forward im ecstatic to see (The 4MK trilogy by J. D Barker ) catching fire. The best thriller series I have ever read

    8. *Return to Sender* by Vera Brosgol is pretty with the zeitgeist. Murderbot is doing brisk business. Romance and escapism is strong.
