I've been trying to get back into reading but I admit that I struggle to finish lengthy books. This year I have managed to read "The Serviceberry" by Robin Kimmerer and "Madonna in a Fur Coat" by Sabahattin Ali. I thoroughly enjoyed both but I realized I'm more likely to finish a book if it's something I can read through in one or two sittings.
Anyone have any recommendations on the shorter side that are either nature related or simply classics I should check out? I have a BS in Soil and Watershed Sciences and I'm currently pursuing my Master's in entomology so I'm open to reading essays that don't "hold your hand". TIA
