Hi, I’m looking for a series of 2-4 book recommendations that can slowly ease me into reading classic books, so that I can read Frankenstein with my friends in November. I just read ‘white nights’ and I would say it was a 3.75 star read for me, what should I read next? I’ll still be studying from September -> November so I don’t know if I could read really long books (500+ pages, but I’m able to give it a try). Thank you!

    2. Carmilla was a quick read that wasn’t particularly difficult. Peter Pan wasn’t too bad either. I’d stay away from Oscar Wilde until you get past Frankenstein, though. Some of the language he uses put me off of classics for a bit, but he is popular for a reason.
