Trying to get back into reading fiction. I recently finished "The Sluts" by Dennis Cooper and I'm reading one of Kathy Acker's novels right now. I've read things like "Story of the Eye" by Georges Bataille in the past as well, so I guess you could categorize those as erotic literature. But on the opposite end of the spectrum from spicy romance books like 50 Shades or something? Nothing against that, just not sure how else to really describe what I'm not looking for!
If it helps, I've also read a few horror books in the last few years like "Penpal" by Auerbach and "Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke" by Eric LaRocca. Those were fine.
