I saw someone post about being disgustingly well read? I was thinking of posting something similar so I checked that post out and saved a couple books that were suggested. I have never enjoyed reading or learning about politics, history, philosophy or art, they’ve always been my worst subjects. Are there any recommendations you would give? I’m hoping to read at least 5-10 books covering each topic. To be blunt, I just feel very lackluster in my overall knowledge, I know a “little bit about a lot” and I do sometimes enjoy the fact that I’m ignorant on certain topics because I like learning from people who are well versed and passionate about the things I don’t know. I’m at a point where I’m hungry for knowledge. I want to read more about the things I don’t know, but I’m not sure where to start. Currently I read a lot of cooking, gardening, fantasy, and self help books. I also have a good list of math and science books (like the “for dummies” and SAT/ACT prep books) because I like doing math and science stuff.
