Next week I will be on a very long drive and would really appreciate a good audiobook in the vein of the following favorites:

(4) Bridget Jones
(5) Excellent Women
(6) Sushi for Beginners
(7) Confessions of a Shopaholic
I am looking for a character driven story, ideally female lead but not required. I don't want a romcom but I am okay with that being secondary to the story – I love a well thoughtout character arc, lots of introspection.
I don't like horror or detective stories in books.
Let me know if something comes to mind!
